Tom Canning
He previously worked as a senior executive with Lakeland Dairies and as M.D. of C.C. Agricultural Consultants Ltd. He is the current Vice-President of the Agricultural Consultants Association (ACA) with over 30 years of experience in agricultural consultancy in the North East region.
He is a recognised agricultural consultant both within and outside the agricultural sector and a current member of the Skillnets Funding Steering Committee with the Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ISME). He was a member of the final judging panel for the FBD Young Farmer of the Year awards in 2009 and was a member of the judging panel for the Agri-Business Awards 2015. He is a member of the judging panel for the Agri-Business Awards 2016 again this year which takes place in the Hilton Double Tree hotel in Dublin in November.
